Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Senior Counsel to support daily transactional needs across client engagement letters, master services agreements, and other commercial agreements. The role emphasizes strategic business partnership, risk management, and collaboration with the Office of the General Counsel.

The ideal candidate has a JD, 5+ years of commercial/corporate law experience, and prior law firm experience; possession of a Bar in Good Standing is required.

Qualifications

• JD required.
• Five or more years of broad commercial and corporate legal experience.
• Three or more years’ experience with a law firm; Am Law 100 preferred.
• Bar in good standing.
• Experience supporting commercial transactions and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Review, advise, and negotiate client engagement letters and commercial transactions.
• Counsel internal clients to minimize legal risk in contractual matters.
• Contribute to Office of the General Counsel processes and templates.
• Support real estate/leasing, financing, and corporate matters; assist on M&A.
• Communicate progress with OGC team and external parties.
• Perform other related duties as required.
