Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Senior Counsel to support day-to-day transactional needs, including client engagement letters, master services agreements, NDAs, procurement, and marketing contracts. You will partner with principals and internal clients to craft practical legal solutions within policy and regulatory constraints.

The role requires a JD, at least five years of broad commercial and corporate experience, bar in good standing, and proficiency in Word/PowerPoint.

Qualifications

Juris Doctorate required and bar in good standing.
Minimum five years of broad commercial and corporate legal experience.
Experience with client-facing agreements and corporate transactions.

Responsibilities

Review, advise and negotiate client engagement letters and commercial transactions.
Counsel internal clients to minimize legal risk in contracts and business matters.
Support internal GC processes, policies and templates for transactional work.
Assist on real estate/leasing, financing, corporate matters and M&A as needed.
Develop expertise in additional areas of law as requested by leadership.
Communicate progress with the OGC and external parties.
