By The Hand Club For Kids seeks a Corporate & Foundation Relations Officer to lead strategic fundraising efforts in Chicago. The role drives partnerships with corporations and foundations, manages a portfolio, and expands the grant footprint toward a goal exceeding $18 million.

The position oversees the full fundraising cycle from identification to solicitation, collaborating with Grants Manager and broader Fund Development team to secure funding for the organization's mission.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to generate seven-figure annual revenue from foundations and corporations.
• Strong track record identifying and securing new corporate and foundation funders.
• Strong relationship-building, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strategic, results-oriented and highly organized.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• BA or BS in nonprofit, marketing, communications, business, education or related field.
• At least 5 years of corporate and foundation fundraising experience preferred.
• Experience with databases, research tools, Microsoft Office, Ninety and Google Workspace.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and personal auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute corporate and foundation fundraising strategies.
• Manage a portfolio of corporate and foundation relationships.
• Identify and cultivate new funding opportunities.
• Research prospective corporate and foundation funders.
• Develop and submit high-quality grant proposals.
• Partner with the Grants Manager on compliance and stewardship.
• Support corporate sponsorships and partner engagement.
• Track portfolio activity, progress and fundraising goals; maintain donor records.
• Build relationships through networking and community events.
• Collaborate across the Fund Development team to maximize opportunities.
