Job summary

CAS is seeking a business-minded Corporate Counsel to serve as a trusted legal advisor across the organization. You will negotiate sophisticated commercial and technology agreements, support strategic initiatives and emerging technology programs, and advise on AI and other tech legal matters to enable innovation while balancing risk.

Located at CAS headquarters in Columbus, OH, you will partner with leadership and cross-functional teams, working on SaaS, data licensing, IP, and technology

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active U.S. license.
• At least 5 years in law firm and/or corporate legal setting.
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial and tech agreements.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and advise on commercial and technology agreements (SaaS, software, data licensing).
• Advise on risks involving AI and emerging technologies, including APIs and MCPs.
• Provide practical legal guidance to cross-functional teams across the organization.
• Support a sales organization serving global regions (Americas, EMEA, APAC).
• Manage matters from negotiation through execution and ongoing support.
