DraftKings Inc. is seeking a Corporate Counsel, General Litigation to shape litigation strategy and manage risk across the business. You will partner with teams to assess disputes, develop strategies, and provide practical legal guidance for issues with domestic and global impact.

You will draft filings, negotiate with counsel, and guide exposure reduction across departments. A JD, active MA bar status, and strong communication are essential for success.

Formación

• At least 5 years of relevant litigation experience at a law firm; in-house experience is a plus.
• Juris Doctor Degree from ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• Active Massachusetts Bar membership or eligibility for in-house counsel in Massachusetts.

Responsabilidades

• Assess lawsuits, demand letters, customer complaints, and other legal threats; gather facts and develop response strategies.
• Draft and review court filings with outside counsel and guide litigation strategy from assessment through resolution.
• Negotiate with opposing counsel to resolve disputes and threats when appropriate.
• Partner with teams to identify litigation risks and develop strategies to address exposure.
• Represent the company in small claims court as needed.
• Investigate and respond to regulators and Attorneys General inquiries related to customer complaints.
• Provide practical, timely legal guidance on emerging business issues to internal partners.
