Job summary

KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting is seeking a highly strategic Group Controller for a confidential client in Georgetown, MA. The role oversees corporate accounting across multiple manufacturing sites and partners with executive leadership to drive financial performance.

The position leads monthly closes, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, while guiding a finance team and supporting audits, tax, and process improvement initiatives. Travel to New England sites is expected.

Qualifications

• CPA certification required.
• Extensive multi-site manufacturing accounting and finance experience.
• Experience overseeing accounting and financial operations across multiple locations.
• Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Excellent Excel skills and systems aptitude.
• Experience with manufacturing ERP systems; Infor/Syteline is a plus.
• Strong communication and business partnering skills.
• Willingness to travel periodically to New England locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead all corporate accounting and financial reporting activities across multiple manufacturing sites
• Oversee monthly and year-end close, financial statements, and reporting
• Own budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and variance reporting
• Partner with divisional and plant leadership to improve financial performance
• Support operational decision-making through meaningful financial analysis
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and reporting
• Lead and develop accounting/finance team members
• Support audits, tax, compliance, and other corporate finance initiatives
• Provide financial insight and recommendations to senior leadership
