Job summary

1915 South seeks a Corporate Controller to own the integrity of financial records across all entities. The role leads end-to-end accounting, consolidations, and internal controls, partnering with FP&A and reporting to the Chief Finance & Strategy Officer.

Impactful leadership will drive close discipline, documentation, and a robust control environment as the company integrates acquisitions and migrates ERP systems. This is a full-time, on-site leadership position in Arkansas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and an active CPA license.
• Master's in Accounting or MBA preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience including public accounting audit and multi-entity close.
• Experience leading and developing an accounting team.
• Retail, distribution, or multi-location operating experience preferred; ERP/finance system experience.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close across all entities.
• Maintain consolidation and chart of accounts; ensure consistent coding.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and depreciation with audit-ready support.
• Oversee balance-sheet reconciliations and internal controls; ensure accuracy.
• Act as liaison to external audit and tax firms; manage audit requests.
• Oversee STORIS and QuickBooks Enterprise data integrity and automation efforts.
• Document procedures for each accounting cycle; build cross-coverage.
