Job summary

Corporate Resources of Illinois is seeking a Corporate Controller in Elk Grove Village, IL (Hybrid) to lead a broad accounting function and partner with senior leadership. Responsibilities include monthly close, financial reporting, budgeting, policy development, and internal controls.

The role requires 10+ years in accounting with manufacturing experience and at least 5 years in supervision. The position offers a high-visibility role with a base salary range of $150,000–$175,000 plus bonus and

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing
• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience
• Experience with SAP ERP system
• Strong financial acumen with ability to analyze complex data and provide strategic insights
• Experience leading accounting teams in manufacturing or distribution environments

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly accounting close and consolidation process and guide team members
• Create, analyze, and present financial reports; communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual statements
• With the CFO, administer and review all financial plans and budgets; monitor progress for senior leadership
• Lead all accounting functions, including policy development and financial system management
• Ensure effective internal controls and timely reporting to executives and Board
• Develop and adhere to corporate accounting policies; stay updated on GAAP changes
• Manage cost accounting processes for accurate tracking and reporting
• Oversee eCommerce financial activities, including revenue recognition and expense allocation
• Build a cohesive accounting organization that supports the business and addresses challenges
• Implement a crisp cadence and reporting mechanism to measure current and future state of the business
• Oversee corporate tax function including federal returns
• Manage fixed asset inventory and depreciation schedules
