The role centers on leading accounting and financial operations as a senior financial leader, focusing on accountability, accuracy, and efficiency. The ideal candidate has a track record of delivering results in a complex manufacturing environment, with expertise in GAAP, policy development, and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting experience with a manufacturer
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
• Manufacturing background is essential

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team to include accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, billing, and inventory control functions
• Maintain a set of accounting policies that comply with GAAP and internal guidelines
• Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with GAAP
• Train and develop accounting staff in their job responsibilities
• Coordinate the month end closing process including account analysis and reconciliation
• Manage the annual budget process, including maintenance and re-forecasts
• Oversee treasury function including daily cash and revolving credit management
• Provide financial analysis on ecommerce cost of delivery expense
• Assist in ERP and other accounting software projects
• Assist in ad-hoc analysis and management reporting
