Southern Champion Tray, LP is seeking a Corporate Controller to lead financial reporting, controls, and compliance across our manufacturing operations. You will guide day‑to‑day accounting, partner with leadership to inform strategic decisions, and ensure timely, accurate statements for multiple entities.

The role requires a strong working knowledge of tax law, controls, audits, and cross‑functional collaboration, with a focus on cost accounting and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Ten years’ leadership experience in accounting, with focus on financial reporting and internal controls.
• Experience in manufacturing or distribution environment and knowledge of cost accounting.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; exposure to ERP and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for multiple entities.
• Coordinate audits, reviews and required filings with external providers.
• Oversee job cost reporting, payroll, bank reconciliations and debt payments.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal tax filings and accounting policies.
• Maintain accounting policies, procedures, controls and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Generate timely financial reports and KPIs for executive leadership.
• Mentor direct and indirect reports and act as trusted advisor to leaders.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Accounting

CPA

MBA or advanced accounting credentials (plus)
