Job summary

StevenDouglas partners with a financial services firm to hire a newly created Corporate Controller. This leadership role will own the month-end close process and play a significant part in the company’s high-growth strategy through M&A activity and integration.

Responsibilities include end-to-end monthly close, preparing statements with variance analysis, multi-entity accounting across platforms and acquired entities, intercompany and consolidation tasks, and managing workpapers, K-1s, and

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of accounting experience with month-end close
• Experience with M&A integration and consolidation
• ERP experience; larger ERP preferred
• CPA preferred but not required
• Strong leadership and fast-paced environment adaptability

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close end to end.
• Prepare monthly financial statements with variance analysis.
• Manage multi-entity accounting across platforms and acquired entities (intercompany, allocations, consolidation).
• Assemble workpapers, review K-1s, and manage estimated payments.
• Oversee monthly reporting and diligence for acquisitions.
