Job summary

Cohere is seeking a senior finance leader to own the month-end close across multiple entities and oversee audit activities. You will drive system implementations, process improvements, and acquisition integration efforts while directing general ledger operations and financial statement prep.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and a track record of building scalable accounting processes in tech companies.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership in fast-paced environments.
• Strong technical accounting skills and deep understanding of GAAP.
• Experience owning month-end close and managing audit relationships.
• Proven ability to solve problems and improve processes.
• Familiarity with financial systems (Netsuite preferred).
• Excellent communication and cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own the complete month-end close process across all entities.
