Job summary

Vector Talent Solutions is seeking a Corporate Controller for a client in the construction and hospitality sector, based in Grand Junction, CO. The role partners with the CFO to assure accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls.

You will oversee month-end close, budgeting, tax support, and lender compliance, while leading accounting staff and coordinating with external auditors to support growth and sound financial management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial accounting principles.
• Experience managing accounting operations and month-end close.
• Experience with budgeting, cash flow management, and project-level reporting.
• Familiarity with audit support, tax reporting, lender compliance.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of construction/hospitality industry dynamics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations and month-end close.
• Prepare financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow.
• Maintain general ledger and chart of accounts for accuracy.
• Monitor project budgets, financial performance, and cost controls.
• Support external accounting firm with reviews and audits.
• Manage lender reporting and covenant compliance; raise concerns to CFO.
• Oversee payroll, benefits vendors, and accounts payable processes.
• Analyze financial data to identify cost reduction and efficiency opportunities.
• Perform additional financial analysis and special projects as needed.
