Job summary

The Odom Corporation is seeking a Corporate Controller to lead our accounting function and strengthen the accuracy, discipline, and scalability of our financial operations. This hands-on leader will own financial close, policy development, external audit readiness, general-ledger integrity, and internal controls, while guiding a growing accounting team in partnership with the CFO and senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Progressive accounting leadership experience includes ownership of the monthly close, financial reporting, external audit, internal controls, and team leadership.
• Experience improving accounting processes, clarifying roles, and leading change in a multi-location environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close and deliver accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain general ledger integrity and chart of accounts.
• Improve close speed and reliability by standardizing work and controls.
• Lead external audit preparation and monitor internal controls across key processes.
• Oversee cash, receivables, payables, inventory, fixed assets, and other controllership activities.
