Job summary

The Odom Corporation is seeking a Corporate Controller to lead our accounting function, strengthening accuracy and control across close, policy, and reporting. You will own GAAP-compliant processes, audit readiness, and team development while partnering with the CFO and operations leaders to drive improvements.

This hands-on leadership role requires practical process improvements, disciplined controls, and collaboration across finance, operations, and IT to scale our multi-location beverage

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Progressive accounting leadership experience including monthly close, financial reporting, external audit, internal controls, and team leadership.
• Experience improving accounting processes, clarifying roles, and leading change in multi-location, inventory-intensive environments.
• Demonstrated command of U.S. GAAP and translating requirements into practical controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close with accurate, timely financial reporting.
• Maintain general ledger integrity, chart of accounts, intercompany activity, and supporting records.
• Improve close speed by standardizing processes and establishing effective review controls.
• Own accounting policies and significant technical conclusions under U.S. GAAP.
• Design, document, and monitor internal accounting controls across key processes.
• Provide oversight of cash, receivables, payables, inventory, fixed assets, and other controllership activities.
• Lead system and workflow improvements to increase accuracy, control, and efficiency.
• Develop an accountable, service-oriented accounting team and partner with executives.
