Job summary

Versant Media in Orlando, FL is seeking a Manager, Central Accounting - Record to Report (R2R) to lead day-to-day centralized accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany activity, and fixed assets, with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and control.

You will supervise analysts and outsourced teams, manage close calendars, ensure SOX compliance, and partner with Tax, Treasury, and IT to drive standardization, automation, and ERP optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 4+ years in corporate accounting, controllership, or R2R operations.
• Experience leading month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and related processes.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, SOX requirements, internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead centralized R2R activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and close deliverables.
• Manage month-, quarter-, and year-end close calendars and risk escalation.
• Oversee outsourced finance resources and ensure SLAs and KPIs.
• Partner with multiple teams on governance, reporting, and process improvements.
