Charter Schools USA Inc. in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Corporate Staff Accountant to support accurate financial reporting across CSUSA and its subsidiaries.

You will reconcile accounts, post journal entries, and help prepare monthly statements for audits and management review. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting, 2–5 years of related experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Solomon accounting software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting or related field.
• 2-5 years of related experience.
• Computer basics: MS Windows (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Excel at intermediate/advanced level.
• Familiarity with Solomon accounting software is a plus.
• Commitment to company values.

Responsabilités

• Performs bank reconciliations.
• Prepares and posts journal entries.
• Performs balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Creates/updates Excel worksheets for ledger reconciliations using advanced Excel features.
• Generates monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements for subsidiaries.
• Assists during annual financial audits with documentation and explanations.
• Interacts with departments to obtain current information.
• Reviews documents to ensure accurate and timely transactions.
• Reviews weekly AP check disbursements.
• Assists with budgeting/forecasting.
