About the Role

As an Enterprise Account Executive at Databricks, you will be a strategic sales professional experienced in selling into large retail accounts like Walmart. You will drive innovation and change through customer vision expansion, guide deals to close faster, and communicate the value of our products effectively.

Databricks operates at the forefront of the Unified Data Analytics and AI space, helping businesses gain a competitive edge. We seek a creative, execution-oriented Strategic Enterprise Account Executive to join our Retail & CPG team, managing key clients and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with CIOs, IT executives, and other decision-makers.
  • Close new and existing accounts.
  • Identify quick wins and manage complex sales cycles.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Meet activity, pipeline, and revenue targets.
  • Utilize Salesforce for tracking customer interactions.
  • Promote Databricks' Lakehouse platform.
  • Prioritize opportunities and coordinate resources.
  • Develop success plans internally and with clients.
Qualifications
  • Experience in early-stage companies and navigating success there.
  • Field sales experience in big data, Cloud, SaaS.
  • Established relationships with CIOs and decision-makers at F50 Retail accounts.
  • Ability to articulate complex cloud technologies.
  • 7+ years of enterprise sales experience exceeding quotas.
  • Proven success in closing new and existing accounts.
  • Understanding of Spark and big data is preferable.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
Compensation

Pay ranges vary by zone, with a typical range of $245,300—$376,200 USD, based on experience and location. Compensation may include bonuses, equity, and benefits. For specifics, visit our benefits page.
