Job summary

Florida Gulf Coast University seeks a Coordinator for the Early College Programs to manage daily operations of the ACE Program and coordinate activities for dual enrollment students. You will provide guidance to students, parents and staff on academic programs, admissions and career planning.

The role requires coordinating recruitment, orientation and activities, while collaborating with FGCU units and school partners to advance student success and program retention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and two years of related full-time experience, or six years of related full-time experience.
• Experience in advising and counseling college and/or high school students.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with dual-enrolled high school students preferred.
• Master's degree and experience with Banner and Canvas systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day program and administrative operations of the ACE Program.
• Provide information and advice to students, parents, faculty, and others on programs, admissions and career planning.
• Coordinate recruitment, admissions, orientation, and activities for dual enrollment students.
• Collaborate with FGCU Honors College, Service Learning and other programs to create scholarly engagement opportunities.
• Monitor program expenses and budgets for student social and academic programming.
• Develop tracking mechanisms for current and prospective students, including database updates and reporting.
