Job summary

Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a Coordinator, Early College Programs to manage the ACE Program's day-to-day operations and provide student guidance. You will coordinate recruitment, orientation, and activities for dual enrollment students, and work with FGCU faculty, school districts, and high schools to implement programs and monitor progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) with two years of related experience as an alternative to six years of related full-time work.
• Professional experience in advising and counseling college and/or high school students.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Any combination of relevant education, experience, and/or certifications may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day program and administrative operations of the ACE Program.
• Provide information and advice to current and prospective students, parents, faculty and others on academic programs, admissions, and career planning.
• Coordinate recruitment, admissions, orientation, and activities for dual enrollment students.
• Collaborate with FGCU faculty/staff, school districts, and local high schools to implement and review dual enrollment programs; ensure compliance with policies.
• Oversee academic progress, counseling, discipline, enrichment, and leadership development of dual enrollment students.
• Collaborate with FGCU Honors College and related offices to create opportunities for student engagement and retention.
