Job summary

Regency Supply, a lighting and electrical distributor, seeks an accomplished Controller to lead accounting, ensure GAAP-compliant reporting, and strengthen financial controls across a multi-location organization.

Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, you will drive budgeting, forecasting, treasury, audits, and strategic finance initiatives while mentoring a growing accounting team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a closely related field.
• Active CPA license.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting and financial leadership experience, including a Controller role.
• Experience supporting an organization with $100M+ annual revenue and a complex environment.
• Minimum 3 years of public accounting experience with a national or comparable firm.
• Advanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the accounting organization and oversee GL, AP, AR, credit & collections.
• Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual close with accurate reporting.
• Oversee consolidated financial statements and schedules per U.S. GAAP.
• Maintain internal controls and policies supporting scalable operations.
• Provide GAAP guidance to staff and leadership; monitor new standards.
