Southwire Company, LLC is a leading North American wire and cable producer seeking a senior finance leader to guide accounting, reporting, controls, and performance optimization across a complex electrical operations environment.

The role requires deep expertise in GAAP, risk management, and data-driven decision making, collaborating with senior management and external partners to drive enterprise-level financial solutions and strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 8–11 years of experience in accounting/finance.
• Preferred MPAcc or MBA; CPA, CMA, CGMA or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, controls, and performance optimization in a complex electrical industry environment.
• Develop strategy for accounting controls and performance initiatives in response to regulatory changes and business needs.
• Oversee close processes, reporting accuracy, internal controls, and audit readiness across operations.
• Approve financial statements, reconciliations, and key accounting judgments ensuring GAAP compliance and policy adherence.
• Implement systems to improve financial reporting, data integrity, and analytics to enhance decision support.
• Provide guidance to senior leadership by interpreting financial data and market trends to influence planning and investment decisions.
• Coordinate with auditors, regulators, financial institutions, and external advisors as primary financial authority on complex accounting matters.
• Coach finance professionals and promote development within the team.
