Job summary

Southeast Elevator seeks a Controller to lead the finance function. The role oversees accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and ERP optimization across multiple entities in a growing company.

The ideal candidate has hands-on leadership, strong technical accounting experience, and a track record of process improvement in a fast-paced environment. This hybrid role is based at our Winter Park office in Florida.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience with leadership.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and internal controls experience.
• Experience with NetSuite ERP and advanced Excel for reporting.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• As Controller, provide strategic financial leadership across the organization.
• Oversee monthly close, financial reporting, and multi-entity accounting.
• Manage intercompany activities and consolidate financial statements.
• Develop and enhance financial reporting tools and dashboards.
• Lead budgeting and annual audits; partner with leadership.
• Drive NetSuite optimization and ERP workflows.
• Mentor accounting staff and drive continuous improvement.
