Job summary

CFS is seeking a Controller in Arcanum, OH, offering hybrid work flexibility and exposure to executive leadership. You will lead accounting operations across multiple entities and influence key financial decisions while guiding a growing finance team.

The role emphasizes improving controls, reporting, and systems, with a focus on GAAP compliance, treasury activities, and strategic financial planning. Target compensation ranges from $130,000 to $150,000 plus bonus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong background in financial reporting, month-end close, treasury management, and multi-entity accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting systems.
• CPA a nice plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, including financial statement preparation and reporting.
• Oversee multi-entity accounting operations, reconciliations, treasury activities, and lender reporting.
• Administer and optimize accounting systems, including Sage Intacct, APX, Ramp, and related integrations.
• Ensure GAAP compliance, internal controls, regulatory requirements, and audit support activities.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team while supporting process improvements and operational efficiency.
