Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is recruiting a Controller for an AEC industry client in Orlando, FL. The hybrid role supervises the accounting function, aligns with executive leadership, and drives accurate financial reporting and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, CPA preferred, and Deltek Vantagepoint expertise, with strong project accounting and revenue recognition skills.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibilities.
• AEC industry experience required.
• CPA preferred but not required.
• Deltek Vantagepoint experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting operations including month-end close and financial reporting.
• Manage and develop a team of accounting professionals.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and internal control requirements.
• Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations.
• Drive process improvements and accounting efficiencies across the organization.
• Support audits, tax compliance, and external reporting requirements.
