Job summary

Bolt Graphics, Inc. in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Controller to lead all accounting operations, close processes, and equity compensation accounting for a fast-growing semiconductor startup.

You will drive GAAP compliance, financial reporting, and internal controls while mentoring staff and coordinating with external advisors. The role requires extensive experience in controllership, advanced QuickBooks skills, and expertise in ASC 718 stock-based compensation and 409A valuations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA strongly preferred for senior accounting leadership.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with controllership background.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Maintain books in accordance with U.S. GAAP and prepare financial statements.
• Supervise Senior Accountant and oversee AP and GL activities.
• Oversee cash management and internal controls; ensure audit readiness.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and legal on compliance.
