Drug Crafters Pharmacy in Frisco, Texas, seeks a hands-on Controller to lead accounting, close processes, and financial reporting for a high-growth compounding operation. You will own the general ledger, manage the close calendar, and drive strong internal controls with cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in accounting, strong GAAP knowledge, and experience coordinating audits, with advanced Excel and QuickBooks proficiency.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Own the general ledger and oversee the daily accounting function, ensuring GAAP-compliant records.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes with reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals.
• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial statements, management reports, and schedules for accuracy.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, bank reconciliations, and working-capital activity.
• Prepare cash forecasts and monitor liquidity and near-term funding needs.
• Develop budgets and forecasts; explain variances against budget and prior periods.
• Establish and enforce accounting policies, internal controls, and safeguarding of assets.
• Coordinate the annual financial statement audit and interface with external auditors.
• Support tax and legal teams with schedules and information requests.
• Maintain the accounting system, chart of accounts, and fiscal documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, close timelines, and reporting quality.
• Provide financial insight and ad hoc analysis to management for decision-making.
• Partner with operations to strengthen financial accountability.
