Dual Fuel Company LLC in the New York metro area seeks a hands-on Controller to lead day-to-day accounting, close cycles, and accurate financial reporting under US GAAP.

You will manage payroll, prevailing wage compliance, project costing, and WIP across MEP projects, supervise the accounting team, and partner with operations and CFO on monthly reviews. You will own the finance systems stack (Sage Intacct, BuildOps, and Elations) and drive process improvements.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with full-cycle close.
• Leadership experience with direct reports.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge and internal controls discipline.
• Experience with a mid-market ERP and advanced Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Own the month-end and year-end close and reconcile trial balance.
• Prepare P&L, balance sheet, cash flow with variances.
• Maintain GL, COA, and audit-ready workpapers.
• Oversee payroll processing, including Prevailing Wage compliance.
• Manage project costing, WIP, and revenue recognition.
• Lead accounts payable, AR, collections, and bank reconciliations.
• Oversee sales tax filings and regulatory reporting.
• Develop finance systems and internal controls; lead accounting team.
