Camino Search is partnering to hire a hands-on Controller for a growing software holdings portfolio in Salt Lake City. You will lead core accounting, month‑end close, and multi‑entity consolidations across the group, shaping the finance function as growth accelerates.

The ideal candidate has 8–12+ years in accounting, strong experience in consolidations and SaaS/tech, and CPA with solid US GAAP knowledge. This role offers high visibility, leadership development, and a chance to design scalable

Qualifications

8–12+ years of progressive accounting experience.
Strong multi-entity accounting and consolidations experience.
Experience in software, SaaS, or technology businesses.
CPA and US GAAP expertise.

Responsibilities

Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close across multiple entities.
Lead consolidated financial reporting across the portfolio.
Lead integration of newly acquired businesses into the group's accounting structure and systems.
Manage and improve multi‑entity consolidation processes.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with US GAAP.
Own the annual audit and tax compliance, coordinating with external advisors.
Partner with leadership on financial visibility and performance insights.
Help build and scale accounting processes to support high growth.
Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies within a centralized finance model.
Oversee accounting for international entities, including currency translation and local statutory compliance.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with FP&A, operations, and leadership teams.
Lead and develop the accounting team, including an offshore shared services group.
