Job summary

GreenFruit Avocados is seeking a Controller to lead accounting operations and scale processes for growth. You will ensure GAAP-compliant statements, maintain controls, and support rapid expansion with technology and automation.

The role requires CPA certification and a strong accounting foundation, with 10+ years in finance and 3-5 years in a Controller capacity. Collaboration with executives and growth-focused mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• CPA certification is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• MBA preferred but not required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience; 3-5 years in Controller/Assistant Controller.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and GAAP-compliant statements.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Maintain internal controls and audit readiness.
• Lead and develop accounting team.
• Collaborate with CFO and senior leadership.
• Implement process improvements and automation.
