Jobot is seeking a Permanent Controller in the Logistics sector to oversee all accounting operations, budgeting, and forecasting. The role emphasizes GAAP compliance, timely financial statements, and strong internal controls to support growth.

You will lead month-end close, variances, and financial reporting, collaborate with management on infrastructure, and ensure accurate tax filings. A CPA and 5+ years leadership in accounting are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in accounting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with general ledger, month-end close, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations: Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost, Inventory, Revenue recognition.
• Coordinate and direct budgeting and forecasting; report variances.
• Publish timely monthly financial statements and ensure quality control.
• Develop and document accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
• Manage tax filings and government reporting per local requirements.
• Conduct reviews of financial reports to ensure GAAP compliance.
• Collaborate with management to scale infrastructure and processes for growth.
