Job summary

E78 Talent is seeking a hands-on Accounting Director / Controller to lead accounting and financial reporting for a multi-entity organization in the United States. This role will oversee month-end close, internal controls, audit management, and process improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will partner with operations and executive leadership, drive system initiatives, and mentor the accounting team to support strategic decisions and ensure financial integrity across entities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA is required.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience as Controller, Assistant Controller, or Accounting Manager.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience in a multi-entity environment.
• ERP system experience required.
• Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.
• Experience working in a global organization is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close and financial reporting processes.
• Oversee consolidations and intercompany accounting activities.
• Ensure balance sheet integrity through account reconciliations and review procedures.
• Strengthen internal controls and accounting policies.
• Manage annual external audits and support compliance requirements.
• Drive accounting process improvements and systems initiatives.
• Partner with leadership on special projects and strategic initiatives.
• Develop and mentor accounting team members.
