Job summary

ITAC Solutions is seeking a high-impact Controller to own the accounting function, strengthen processes, and partner with executive leadership on profitability, budgeting, and strategic decision-making. You will oversee day-to-day accounting, FP&A, tax, audit, and controls.

Based in Birmingham, AL, this role offers direct visibility to the C-suite, opportunities to drive month-end close, improve ERP systems, and build a robust control environment across manufacturing and distribution

Qualifications

7–10 years of accounting and leadership experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
Experience with manufacturing or distribution and inventory.

Responsibilities

Provide overall leadership for the accounting function and guide the day-to-day activities of the accounting team
Drive an efficient month-end close and deliver timely, accurate financial reporting to company leadership
Oversee key areas of the financial operation, including receivables, payables, credit, fixed assets, and inventory
Lead the budgeting and financial analysis process, turning financial results into meaningful business insights
Ensure appropriate financial controls are in place and that the company’s financial information remains accurate and reliable
Manage tax, audit, year-end, and other external financial reporting requirements
Champion improvements to accounting processes and systems, including ERP enhancements that make the business more efficient
