Job summary

StaticWorx, Inc., a specialist in high‑performance ESD flooring and technical solutions, is seeking a seasoned Controller to lead its accounting and financial operations from Williston, Vermont.

Reporting to the CEO and partnering with a Fractional CFO, this hands‑on role combines tactical financial leadership with strategic business support, guiding budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and profitability analysis for sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years progressive accounting and financial management experience.
• 3+ years in Controller/Accounting Manager or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, and accounting best practices.
• Experience leading month-end and year-end close processes and preparing financial statements.
• Experience with inventory accounting, cost accounting, working capital.
• Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Onsite work in Williston, VT with hybrid option.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting operations including general ledger and close processes.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and profitability analyses.
• Manage inventory accounting, costing, and internal controls.
• Monitor cash flow and working capital; improve profitability.
• Develop and monitor internal controls and financial reporting.
• Oversee ERP systems leadership and administration.
• Collaborate with CEO and fractional CFO on budgeting and forecasting.
• Partner with sales, operations, purchasing, and admin teams.
• Oversee A/P, A/R, invoicing, and collections.
• Manage relationships with external accountants, tax advisors, auditors, banks.
