Job summary

KB Search Team seeks an experienced Controller to join our leadership team in Hope, AR. You will oversee the accuracy and timely reporting of all financial data while collaborating with local and executive management to drive business strategy.

You will lead continuous improvements across inventory management, financial reporting processes, and analytical tool development, mentoring the accounting staff and ensuring strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (4-year).
• 5+ years accounting work experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software systems.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Internal Controls & Compliance: Maintain, document, and regularly audit effective internal controls.
• Financial Data & Accuracy: Verify the integrity and completeness of financial transactions using detailed reconciliation and analyses.
• Financial Reporting & Forecasting: Deliver timely monthly and annual financial forecasts and reports.
• Strategic Collaboration: Partner with the General Manager and department leaders to evaluate results and develop strategies.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor accounting staff with hands-on leadership.
• Process Improvement: Develop new analytical tools and participate in inventory and financial system improvements.
