Job summary

Job Juncture seeks an experienced Controller to join our client's leadership team in Arkansas. This pivotal role oversees the accuracy and timeliness of financial data reporting while collaborating with local and executive management to evaluate performance and drive business strategy.

The Controller will lead internal controls, forecasting, and inventory management improvements, and will develop analytical tools to support decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting work experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software systems.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Internal Controls & Compliance: Maintain, document, and regularly audit effective internal controls and ensure adherence to policies including capital spending, asset safeguarding, transaction approvals, and expense reimbursements.
• Financial Data & Accuracy: Verify integrity and completeness of financial transactions using detailed reconciliation and advanced analytical procedures.
• Financial Reporting & Forecasting: Deliver timely, accurate monthly and annual forecasts and report results in full compliance with corporate requirements.
• Strategic Collaboration: Partner with General Manager and department leaders to evaluate financial results, identify operational metrics, and develop actionable strategies.
• Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and foster growth of accounting staff through hands-on leadership.
• Process Improvement: Develop analytical tools and participate in company-wide initiatives to enhance inventory management and financial systems.
