Job summary

Pathway Talent Partners, LLC is partnering with a well-established industrial company to hire a Controller who will oversee accounting, financial reporting, and day-to-day financial operations for a multi-location organization.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 7+ years in public accounting or a corporate controller role, with strong knowledge of cost accounting, financial analysis, and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7+ years' experience in either public accounting or corporate controller role.
• ERP System experience preferred.
• Strong foundation in accounting, financial reporting, and cost accounting.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
• Strong communicator, problem-solver, critical thinker.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee general accounting operations and financial reporting activities
• Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial results
• Manage key reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial records
• Assist with cash forecasting and day-to-day treasury activities
• Develop reporting and analysis to support business decision-making
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvements and operational initiatives
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax and regulatory requirements
• Support payroll administration and related accounting functions
• Participate in audit preparation and other strategic finance projects
• Contribute to the continued enhancement of internal controls and financial processes
