Job summary

Beier Integrated Systems in Slidell, LA seeks a Controller to lead accounting operations, ensure GAAP-compliant reporting, and strengthen internal controls. This hands-on role manages monthly closes, payroll via Paylocity, and collaboration with CPAs and auditors.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in progressive accounting roles, strong leadership, and experience with ERP implementations and financial analysis for management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; controller/manager roles preferred.
• CPA or CPA-track experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, schedules, and management reports.
• Maintain general ledger; ensure reconciliations and support.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, cash management, and payroll with Paylocity.
• Coordinate payroll tax filings and payments with Paylocity and advisers.
• Monitor cash balances and communicate significant items to management.
• Lead ERP implementations and accounting software transitions.
