Job summary

Boxabl Inc. seeks a seasoned Controller to plan and direct all accounting operations, ensuring GAAP compliance and robust internal controls. You will manage consolidation, reporting, and close processes while guiding staff through changing regulations and business needs.

You will lead external financial reporting, SEC disclosures, and SOX initiatives, collaborating with leadership on strategic initiatives and integration efforts from M&A and ERP implementations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or accounting required.
• CPA certification required.
• 10+ years of proven accounting experience.
• Experience with SEC reporting and IPOs; SOX controls experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure GAAP compliance and regulatory reporting for all accounts and ledgers.
• Develop and enforce internal controls to protect assets and ensure policy adherence.
• Lead monthly close, journal entries, and reconciliations with the accounting team.
• Oversee external financial reporting and readiness for SEC disclosures.
• Drive SOX compliance, policy implementation, and control improvements.
• Collaborate on M&A activity, ERP rollout, and integration projects.
