Job summary

Confidential is seeking a strategic Controller to lead enterprise-wide accounting across multiple units as the company accelerates growth through acquisitions. You will partner with the CFO and executive leadership to standardize processes and build a scalable finance organization.

You will oversee the close cycle, drive consolidation, ensure GAAP compliance, and mentor accounting leaders. This role requires an active role in M&A integration and ERP optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience.
• Controller experience in multi-entity or multi-site organization.
• Strong consolidations, financial reporting, and internal controls experience.
• Experience leading accounting teams across multiple locations.
• Private equity-backed or high-growth/acquisition-driven background preferred.
• M&A integration experience including due diligence and post-acquisition integration.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide accounting operations across multiple business units and locations.
• Oversee consolidated month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Direct consolidated financial reporting and ensure US GAAP compliance.
• Partner with executives on financial strategy, policies, and initiatives.
• Mentor and develop Controllers and accounting leaders across the organization.
• Lead financial integration efforts for acquisitions (systems, reporting, controls, processes).
• Establish scalable accounting policies, internal controls, and best practices across entities.
• Manage external audit activities and relationships.
• Drive ERP optimization, automation, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Provide financial insights to support strategic decisions.
