Job summary

The Haskell Company is seeking a Contracts Specialist I to support business development and project teams. You will draft, review, and negotiate customer agreements, NDAs, and subcontracts, while staying updated on laws affecting the construction industry.

The role requires strong drafting and negotiation skills, excellent organization, and the ability to manage corporate records and litigation reports. Travel may be required and JD preferred or in progress.

Qualifications

• JD preferred and licensed or in process of applying and taking the bar within the year.
• 5–10 years' experience preferred in contracts (construction) or 5–10 years of construction contracts experience without a JD.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, revise, and negotiate Customer Agreements (service, design, architecture, engineering, construction management).
• Draft, review, revise, and negotiate NDAs, Teaming Agreements and Subcontracts.
• Research changes to laws and regulations affecting corporate and construction industry.
• Maintain corporate records and litigation/claims reports.
• Coordinate high-level meetings and conferences; develop agendas.
• Travel as required; perform independent projects as needed.
