Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation seeks a Contracts Manager I to lead cradle-to-grave contracting activities for AIS Contracts from Lone Tree, CO. The role interfaces with customers and internal teams to ensure compliant, timely contracting actions and robust protections for SNC.

Required are a relevant degree, 0-5+ years of contracting experience, and knowledge of FAR/DFAR with NCMA CCMA preferred. A Secret clearance is required for employment and the position includes growth opportunities in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• 0-5+ years of contracting experience, including negotiation and awards.
• Working knowledge of FAR/DFAR regulations.
• NCMA CCMA certification or equivalent contracting credential preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all contracting activities align with SNC policies, procedures, and governance standards.
• Serve as primary customer interface for solicitation and contractual matters, coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Support full contract administration, monitoring performance, cost allocation, and compliance; identify funding or scope adjustments.
• Oversee Accounts Receivable for assigned contracts and ensure timely payments.
• Draft, review, route, and execute agreements and executive summaries to protect SNC's interests.
• Review NDAs, Teaming Agreements, and other strategic documents with Contracts Administrators and Counsel.
• Maintain contract documentation in SharePoint for audit readiness and transparency.
• Build knowledge of Federal and Commercial contracting regulations; assist Export Compliance with ITAR/EAR considerations.
• Provide leadership guidance to Contracts Administrators and deliver weekly updates to stakeholders.
