Job summary

Wipro Consulting is seeking a Consulting Partner to lead life sciences and medical devices advisory at a Chicago level. You will own senior client relationships, shape AI-enabled R&D and digital trials programs, and drive multi-tower transformation across global accounts.

The role requires deep industry mastery, a proven track record in selling large advisory programs, and a talent-focused leadership style to build diverse, high-performing teams.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in top-tier strategy or Big-4 advisory; 7+ years life-sciences / MedTech leadership
• Proven CXO relationships across pharma R&D, clinical, quality, and MedTech units
• Personally sold & led $100M+ advisory revenue, fluent negotiating at the executive level
• End-to-end command of drug/device lifecycle discovery to post-market surveillance and global regulatory landscapes (FDA, EMA, PMDA)
• Publication author, keynote speaker, or quoted expert, creator of data assets and solution blueprints

Responsibilities

• Originate growth: Identify whitespace, craft C-suite narratives, and close $10M+ advisory bookings annually
• Advise C-suites: Act as trusted voice on AI-augmented R&D, digital trials, smart factories, and product-as-a-service commercialization
• Steer transformations: Govern multi-tower programs (PLM modernization, eTMF digitization, connected-device roll-out, GenAI regulatory automation)
• Create IP and ventures: Incubate differentiating benchmarks, twin platforms, and data products; spin out solution ventures
• Amplify leadership: Publish 3-4 flagship POVs per year, keynote major forums, and secure analyst citations
• Develop talent: Recruit, mentor, and sponsor a diverse cadre of junior partners / senior managers
• Forge alliances: Build strategic partnerships with CROs, CDMOs, cloud/hyperscaler labs, and regulators
• Own the P&L: Manage full consulting P&L for assigned accounts, drive forecast accuracy, margins
• Govern practice: Shape investment roadmaps, prioritize solution backlog, and propagate agile ways-of-working
