Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Sr. Sourcing Specialist, Construction, to support the Starship program at Starbase, TX.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop contract management processes and sourcing strategies that reduce cost and improve delivery performance. You will lead negotiations, manage supplier relations, and drive cost optimization across multiple construction categories, while ensuring compliance and timely project execution for a fast-moving space

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree with 2+ years in engineering, supply chain, purchasing, or related fields.
Experience in contract negotiation and procurement for construction projects.
Construction project management experience preferred.
Ability to lead sourcing strategies and supplier negotiations.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a comprehensive contract management process.
Create sourcing strategies to reduce risk and achieve cost targets.
Build relationships to develop strategic sourcing models for cost reduction.
Communicate and enforce category strategies and KPIs with suppliers.
Identify cost reduction projects and coordinate with stakeholders for updates.
Analyze financial impact and performance for assigned categories.
Define SLAs for suppliers and measure delivery, quality, and cost reductions.
Conduct market research and benchmarking for assigned categories.
Develop contract documents with the legal department and manage obligations.
Drive year-over-year cost optimization and supplier consolidation.
