Job summary

Fiorilli Construction seeks a procurement leader to own a company-wide strategy, optimizing buyout and direct purchasing across markets in the Midwest. You will build a robust supplier network, drive savings, and align Preconstruction, Estimating, Operations, and Finance to deliver measurable COGS improvements.

You will lead procurement turnover to Operations, train teams on tools, and ensure robust reporting while maintaining strong partnerships with trade partners and suppliers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional commercial construction experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, estimating, operations, or a closely related role.
• Strong knowledge of commercial subcontractor markets, material purchasing, buyout strategy, and COGS cost drivers.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, scopes, takeoffs, and translate requirements into procurement decisions.
• Demonstrated skill negotiating pricing, scope, terms, lead times, and commercial arrangements with subs and suppliers.
• Strong financial and analytical capability, including TCO thinking, bid/quote comparison, cost-variance analysis, and advanced spreadsheet skills.
• Comfort preparing scopes, purchase orders, and labor-only subcontract documents; experience with Jonas Premier or similar ERP.

Responsibilities

• Own Fiorilli's company-wide procurement, strategic sourcing, and specialty trade-partner development.
• Review plans, specs, CSI divisions, and bid assumptions; identify direct-buy, labor-only, and turnkey procurement options.
• Centralize recurring General Conditions purchasing and manage direct material buys and labor-only subcontracts.
• Make procurement performance visible through dashboards, KPI scores, and forecast reporting.
• Train the team on processes and tools; continuously improve the procurement system.
