Job summary

The Haskell Company in Atlanta is seeking a seasoned procurement leader to guide supply chain activities across preconstruction through turnover. You will act as primary procurement resource, ensuring alignment with schedules, budgets, and quality objectives.

You will manage subcontract buyout, bid processes, vendor negotiations, and risk evaluations while mentoring Supply Chain Specialists and driving cost savings. Travel 10-25% and commitment to client requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in procurement, engineering, construction, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive procurement/contracting experience on complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead project procurement and subcontract buyout activities, including sourcing and award.
• Develop procurement strategies aligned with project schedules and budgets.
• Serve as primary supply chain contact for assigned projects.
• Coordinate bid lists, supplier evaluations, and subcontractor prequalification.
• Review drawings, specs, and scopes of work to guide procurement.
• Negotiate purchase orders, subcontracts, and change orders with stakeholders.
• Mentor Supply Chain Specialists and maintain procurement reporting.
• Travel ~10–25% to support project locations.
