Job summary

The Haskell Company is seeking an experienced Procurement Lead to oversee project procurement and subcontract buyout across multiple construction projects in Florida. You will guide sourcing, bid evaluations, and commercial decisions to ensure alignment with schedules, budgets, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities include leading RFP/RFQ activities, coordinating with Legal and Operations, and mentoring Supply Chain Specialists while driving cost savings and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in procurement, engineering, construction, estimating, or related field.
• Experience supporting complex procurement activities, vendor negotiations, and subcontractor management.

Responsibilities

• Lead project procurement and subcontract buyout activities, including sourcing, bid solicitation, commercial evaluation, negotiation, and award.
• Develop procurement execution strategies aligned with project schedules and budgets.
• Serve as primary supply chain point of contact for assigned projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and quantity takeoffs.
• Negotiate and issue purchase orders, subcontracts, and change orders in coordination with Legal, Operations, and Project Management.
• Travel approximately 10% - 25%
