Job summary

Dome Construction is seeking an experienced Scheduler in the San Francisco Bay Area to lead complex construction schedules and align project resources across teams. You will partner with project managers, field teams, and trade partners to deliver realistic, data-driven plans from preconstruction through closeout.

You will analyze critical paths, respond to changes, and create recovery plans while improving scheduling standards and templates. Occasional travel to sites and offices is expected.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in construction scheduling or related role.
• Experience developing and maintaining construction schedules.
• Working knowledge of Critical Path Method scheduling.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specs, contracts, and schedules.
• Experience collaborating with project teams, superintendents, and subcontractors.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project, or similar scheduling tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Engineering Technology, or related discipline, or equivalent scheduling experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain baseline, master, milestone, conceptual, and recovery schedules.
• Partner with Project Managers, Superintendents, Project Executives, and trade partners to build realistic plans.
• Create schedules accounting for sequencing, resources, procurement lead times, and milestones.
• Support pursuit and preconstruction efforts with schedules for planning, estimating, and client presentations.
• Analyze critical path activities, constraints, delays, and risks to the schedule.
• Evaluate effects of design changes, procurement challenges, owner requests, weather, and field conditions.
• Develop mitigation and recovery strategies with project teams.
• Monitor progress, forecast completion dates, and produce look-ahead schedules and variance reports.
• Facilitate schedule reviews, pull-planning sessions, and planning workshops.
• Present schedule updates and recommendations to leadership.
• Improve scheduling standards, templates, tools, and practices across projects.
