Job summary

Hawaiian Dredging Construction Company, Inc. in Hawaii is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the financial and physical aspects of construction projects, guiding the project team to meet schedule, quality, and safety goals.

The role requires coordinating with Owners, Developers, A/Es, Subcontractors and suppliers, reviewing plans, and ensuring compliance with contract requirements and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and four years of construction experience or eight years' experience equivalent.
• Civil engineering experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of trades under supervision.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and specifications and assist Estimators with schedule planning and cost review.
• Establish relationships with Owners, Developers, A/Es, Subcontractors and suppliers before, during and after construction.
• Attend pre-job conferences with Owners/Developers/A/Es and in-house teams.
• Attend all meetings with Owners and Architects.
• Plan, direct and coordinate project team activities to meet contract requirements.
• Ensure compliance with local and federal regulations.
• Review and approve written communications prior to sending.
• Investigate new methods and cost-saving procedures.
• Assist in preparing a comprehensive project closeout report.
