Job summary

The Project Engineer collaborates across project phases, supporting administration, cost control, contracts, estimates, and field coordination on Hawai'i island projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
• 4+ years construction industry experience, preferably with a general contractor.
• Experience with concrete/precast and vertical construction projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing prime contracts, subcontracts, PO's, and LOIs.
• Prepare, track, and process submittals, RFIs, permits, and procurement of materials.
• Coordinate Owners, Architects, Consultants, Subcontractors, and Suppliers.
• Administer project documentation and communications.
• Price, prepare, and negotiate contract changes and change orders.
• Support cost control, forecasting, and progress reporting.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Superintendents on field activities.
• Review shop drawings for compliance and coordinate deliveries and logistics.
